Crash Bandicoot could be coming to Nintendo Switch

The Crash Bandicoot N.Sane Trilogy could be on its way to Nintendo Switch, according to a recent merchandisin manual.

According to a European licensing manual a new entry in the Crash Bandicoot franchise is in development for a 2019 release.

“There will be another game in 2019,” said Max Arguile, the licensing manager at merchandising company GB Eye. “Activision has a five-year plan for this and GB Eye is delighted to be on board for all products.”

The report also brings up the idea of the N.Sane trilogy coming to PC and Nintendo Switch, although there’s sadly no mention of Xbox One.

Released exclusively for PS4 in June 2017, retail listings and marketing materials for the remastered trilogy have hinted at other platforms in the past, and it seems to be coming true.

The package includes the original Crash Bandicoot, Crash Bandicoot 2: Cortex Strikes Back and Crash Bandicoot 3: Warped, all complete with visual and audio upgrades.

Considering the short length of each level it could be a wonderful fit for Nintendo Switch whether you’re playing in portable or docked mode.

Activision is yet to make any official announcement regarding a new Crash Bandicoot PS4 title, nor of the N. Sane trilogy coming to other platforms, but we’ll be sure to update this story if something emerges.
